Upon your arrival at The Haven House you will be greeted by someone in our front office. You will be asked to provide a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card. You will be offered something to drink and have an opportunity to sit with your family in our lobby. The intake coordinator will start the admissions process as soon as possible. After meeting with the intake coordinator you will be medically assessed by our medical staff. Lastly you will be introduced to your therapist where they will spend time getting to know you and your needs.

  • Quarters (for the pay phone and vending machines)
  • Enough seasonal clothing for approximately 7-10 day (you will have access to the laundry facilities on a daily basis as well as provided with laundry detergent)
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Personal hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. (No mouthwash will be allowed or any aerosol products)
  • Towels
  • You are welcome to bring your own pillow, although pillows will be provided
  • Guitars are welcome
  • Mouthwash of any kind
  • Any type of alcohol based product
  • Weapons of any kind, including pocket knifes
  • Any clothing with drug paraphernalia
  • Nail polish remover
  • Perfume/cologne
  • Cell phones
  • Computers/iPad
  • MP3 players/iPod/Radios
  • Revealing clothing
  • Personal valuables (jewelry)
  • Large amounts of money
